salvage title has a big impact on a cars value. this is good because one can get a nice car for far below book value. but this is also bad because if you spend a lot of money on repairs and modifications, your car still has a salvage brand and it's resale value is next to nothing.
some states mandate inspections to check for stolen parts before a car with a salvage title can be registered to be driven on the road
once you've got the car on the road, no one except for you will know that it's got a salvage title unless you tell them. | | |
