How hard is it to change the front driver side spindle? Is it something that i can do? Or should i have it towed to my mechanic? Thanks, Jacob

If you are familiar with the procedure for popping the ball joint then that's the only tricky part- the rest is just nuts and blots mechanics. Popping a ball joint is something you want to have help with the first time you do it (from somebody who has done it before) since doing it wrong can result in the coil spring flying out at neck-breaking velocity.

I, personally, wouldn't pay somebody to take out the sprindle(s), but I've been turning wrenches as a medium-serious hobby for many years.
