193 casting heads vs. 083 heads

OK, I got screwed! My motor was replaced by the dealership a few years ago under warranty. They used a Jasper engine in it. Back then I didn't have internet access to check things out. Now I justed looked up my heads and found out that the heads Jasper put on the long block are the 193 castings. Those are from trucks and TBI cars. The cores they got back from the dealer were the real deal 083 TPI heads. My question is just how much worse are the 193 heads? They're both 64 cc heads with 1.94/1.50 valves, so am I losing that much by having the truck heads? Also, I've since put a supercharger on the car. With it being forced induction, do the flow characteristics really matter all that much?

Man i hate to tell you what you already suspect but the 083 castings are much better than the swirl port 193 castings.

That's a bummer

According to what I've read on this forum, the 083 castings were the TPI heads. But I'm seeing on the web that the 083 heads were from 1987 only. What should the 1989 motor have? Could the 193 heads be the right heads?
