What heads will offer the best performance and value? The rest of the motor will be 10.3:1 with forged pistons and 64 cc chambers, stock rods, stock crank, Super Victor intake, 750 double pumper, 500/510 cam (probably will go bigger), 1.6 roller rockers, 4 speed, etc. I'm looking for around 215 cc intake ports, 2.05/1.60 valves, and may go up on the cam to around 600 lift, but I want 64 cc chambers to keep the compression around 10.3:1 for pump gas. I'm looking at the following heads: Brodix Track 1, Dart Pro 1, Edelbrock Victor Jr., Trick Flow regular or Big Port, Pro Topline Lightning, maybe something from AFR, World Motown Race, or Jegs High Flow 220. This is primarliy a strip car, but it will see street duty, although that's not the prime intention. Any advice? Thanks.

I had the right side hooker supercomp touch in two places (be prepared to get real friendly with a die grinder), one was the front subframe (exhaust tube for cyl 2 I think) and the slip fit pipe for cylinder number 8. The heads are slightly wider I think had reduces that space to zero.
Originally posted by usa1racing I also looked at Canfield's. They seem to offer good flow numbers. I just wish I could find someone to take these Torquer S/R's off my hands.
I believe the Jeg's heads are made by Canfield. I just sold my S/R's to a truck guy over on the fbody.com board.
Originally posted by usa1racing How about the Dart Pro 1's? I keep hearing good things about them from people around home.
I too have heard good things about them. Scoggin dickey has the dart pro 1's and iron eagle heads. You can get the pro 1's for like 400-450 bare and the iron eagles for like 250 bare. Do a little clean up on the exhaust side and put your choice of valves, springs, and retainers.
I have always been told to get the most out of a head buy them bare and put the parts in them that you need. You may have as much in the dart pro 1's as the afr's, but you will have heads that match your needs, Dart still is a very good product to quote many engine builders around here.
With the compression you are wanting you might even get away with the iron eagles, which have good flow rates. Especially if you clean up the exhaust side.
