Those are sweet looking how much do they weigh. My Iron ones weigh quite a bit.

So how much lift can those valve springs handle? Also how much did those run you? Which version are they and what are the flow numbers? I know they are supposed to flow pretty well, but has anyone done any tests to see how much power they make compred to afr's?

Ben
They are the 200cc 64cc heads, 2.08/1.6 valves, $880 shipped to my door.
The springs in that kit can handle .550 lift, I'm not using a roller, so I didn't need much more for now.
And for about $400 or so cheaper than AFRs, I'm sure I'll be quite happy with them.

www.proshaver.com the owner said he would do group purchases for that price of about 3 sets. Very nice guy btw. I know there is one guy interested already , he's tryin to find some other people to go in on the deal I think.
Those appear to be single springs (with a damper of course), so they are for flat tappets. Rollers use double and even triple vavle springs most of the time because of the lobe characteristics.

I could have gotten the K2 kit with better springs, b/c they were out of the K1 kit , I asked him what he recommended, and since I have a hydr. cam he said just to get the K1 kit.

notice the "" i have?
15lbs of boost from twim 60mm turbos will require quite a valvespring even on a flat tappet hehe
AJ_92RS Are these the same heads for $675? They look to be.
they look the same to me..... just dosent say if they are alluminum or not everything else appears to be the same, if they are indeed the same ones i think i might be picking up a set for $675 bucks i was going to be paying that much for vortec's good find mark:hail: i think they will look nice sitting on top of the 406 do you know if they have these heads available with steam holes already drilled? might just have to drill them like i did to the 350 heads i already have on the motor.
They make the exact same head in iron and alum versions, but I doubt that is the alum version, however the vortecs you were looking at werent either unless you were looking at fastburns and I doubt it for that price.
yeah the vortec's were iron i know that but if i can get a set of alluminum heads for almost the same amount i might as well.... i figured if those pro lightings were alluminum it would say in the description.
Looks like a good set of heads for the money Mark.
If your interested in tweeking them a bit before ya bolt them on,
you could do some minor gasket matching to the port openings
so there is a smooth transitition from the manifold to the head.
Especially in the roof of the port. This is a high flow area.
Other than that I wouldn't mess with them too much more for your purposes.
Wonder if you could pull a couple valves and show a pic of the
bowls for us.
You should see a nice improvement with those compared to your
stockers. What did the tech guys say at ProShaver about the head gasket?
This line of cylinder heads is very interesting. I'm trying to get my friend to become a dealer, here for Pro Topline Cylinder Heads,
Simular to Proshaver. They appear to be a good product.
ok well i have a question, where do the spark plugs go, or is there another part tot eh heads that you screw them into or something, Thanks, i just used to the old style stock heads.
I'm gonna stroke mine too. Hopefully the bore isn't warn, so i get sloppy pison slap.
