blower motor only works on defrost???

It works fine in all settings on defrost, but with the vents set to any other position I get nothing. Any ideas? THANKS

buddy of mine had the same problem... he figured out it had something to do about when he hooked back up his coolant lines etc after doing his intake swap... might wanna look into that. he only gets any type air out of the defrosters... or at least until he fixed it!

Just a guess, but that almost has to be the function selector switch.

the hot/cold air part works fine. It's just that the blower motor only comes on when the selector is switched to defrost.

his is the same way... hot/cold works... just he can only get air to come out of the dash...

mine comes out the dash or the defrost or the floor just fine. it's the motor itself that will only come on when I set the vents to defrost.
