That is very strange Bret, the pulley diameters are obviously differant , and the brackets themselves are differant, but why? Seems as though GM would make up tooling for the bracket and be done with it, but to make another is odd. The picture on the bottom (your post) is the same as I just bought. Never seen the one above before.
Actually, looking closer, I wonder if it is possible that the above pulley was weak, and they had to revise the design...? Look close at each of them, the lower looks to be much stronger. Think it is even an issue?
same here.. bottom one.. I believe the part number was the 10055890 .. sounds familiar (I did lots and lots of searches, typing the number many times) ... not sure about the other.. isn't there a 1LE 4th gen too? maybe that IS the 4th gen one.... who knows.
Ah correct me if i'm wrong but isnt the top pully the one used for ......smog delete......on serpentine belt setups........I had done the search also for myself for when I do the ac delete and the bottom pully is for 3rd gen cars.....
could be... if I remember correctly the smog pulley was smaller than the a/c pulley.... but I just ripped that off and bypassed it, so I wouldn't know for sure.
The top one is an LT1 A/C Delete Pulley, and it is listed as Smog or Waterpump Pulley for some reason.
Here is a picture of mine with the part number showing on it,
Same setup I am using in my 94....I'm working on pulling the a/c compresser out with the engine in the car. The front 3 bolts were cake to remove. the bottom back bolt was as easy. But I have tried everything to get on the top back bolt..any suggestions ? do I need to remove any acc. Alt....or anything that would make access easier? Any help would be great......
