anyone run their plug wires between heads and headers?

...as opposed to on top of the valve covers. i think it would help clean the engine bay up a lot but i'm worried about excessive heat. anyone done it? did you use some kind of sleeving on the wires?

I think Jegs and Summit sell sleeves for the wires to protect them from the heat. you can look them up on-line

I know that Thermo Tec sells this things to protect the wires. Whitout them i guess whe wires would melt.
But your right that it would clean up the engine bay.

I did on my camaro but I used thermal sleeves on the plugs and header wrap on the headers. Also I used cut to lenthplug wires so I had plenty of lenth to work with. It really does clean the engine up.

I run mine between the headers and the heads.

They're MSD Super Conductors and I used MSD Pro Clamp wire separators. I also cut them to length so they wouldn't burn on the header.

Well thats exactly what I mean They go from the distributor, down around the back of the cylinder head, and then between the headers and the heads. I routed the wires while the motor was on an engine stand... so that definitely made it ALOT easier to do.
