bore clearance on AFR heads?

I was looking into AFR alu heads and 190cc with i guess 68cc CB chambers are looken nice for $1250 shipped My Q is Thunder Racing has the heads and they said:

"Note 305ci requires 1.940-1.550 valves for bore clearance."

And the heads come "2.020 intake and 1.600 exhaust" standard. What should I get to get bore clearance for my LO3 and how much is it thanx guys

I should also mention i will get the heads after i get a new exhaust, headers, LT1 cam, intake manifold and 1.5RR.

I wouldn't run those heads no matter what on a 305, plus the 6 8cc chambers will lower compression excessively!

The problem with a 305 and good heads, is that the bore is so small, that the valves aren't entirely above it. They tend to hang over the edge a bit. And when that happens, they smack into the top of the block when they open, instead of going down into the cylinder. Not suitable for racing.

Not suitable for racing...

You mean like a "poor-man's" splayed/canted valve setup? Where only the faces of the valves are splayed? Who needs all that expensive casting and machining, anyway?
