black stuff out exhaust

when i start my car , it spits out some black stuff... it seems to be in a liquid form, and it just spits it out... does anyone know what this is, and can tell me what to do to remedy this.....

i agree with murdock......there can be water condensation in your exhaust somtimes, there's nothing wrong with that, and as it runs out i guess it will bring all the shlt with it.....then again i dont know why it would "spit" out instead of just drizzling out

What do you think carbon buildup is from? CO2 and water aren't black.

haha.....granted, but even a car not running rich is gonna have at least SOME buildup...my pipes get coated and im pretty sure im not running rich....i dont think he's got anything to worry about
