Ok, need a couple quick replys.....steering wheel moves side to side.....

k, the car: 1988 GTA
the problem: steering wheel moves a little side to side.....
What i think: had the same prob in my 86 Z28.....and it got reeeeaaaallll loose, and i had to take it in and have those "4 bolts" locktighted back into place.....
I also am not sure though, because it's not quite the same feeling as the camaro was.....

Sounds like the bolts are loose, or bearings worn out.

bearings? forgive my ignorance.....but what type of bearings.....? those ones that fell out all over the place when i tried to tighten the bolts by myself (not on this car, my practice car.....no tires wheels etc. ) If so, how much is it to just replace those? Cause on the Z, it was 140 just to have those stupid bolts done.....
