305 ho air cleaner????

ok, so i've been looking for one of these for a while. anyone have the part numbers for it, know how much they cost. Have one laying around, ect...ect... I really want one, and no local junk yards have any H.O. 305's. did the Monte's come with the same H.O. 305 and air cleaner with the " 5.0 Liter H.O. " decal on it?

This guy always has one or two. Look in the parts for sale section under Camaros. And I recommend buying a complete unit. The parts are just not available from anyone anymore.

If you can't find one, you can make a dual snorkel intake. There is a Tech Article on the site.

BTW - The decal doesn't produce any more power...

Probably.

Would it produce any improvement, sitting an inch from the hood and sucking in hot air in order to defeat the advantage you get from the L69 setup in the first place? I doubt it.

u kidding that sticker alone is worth somthing like 25-40 hp it self...and the torque alone. it'll do wheelies if i get that sticker!

actually i just like the way it looks with the 5.0 liter H.O. sticker. plus i plan on doing a dual snorkel set up with cone filters and exhaust pipe bent so it fits...kinda like a real cold air intake, only shiny and making it actually work for real. instead of some cheap plastic from the factory set up. but until i get it done i would like to get one of these.
