Fuel Injector Cleaning ....

Question about cleaning fuel injectors while they are still in the car. Services start from $80 to $200 at dealers. Where can I get the kit? I know you can get it, but where? Is it special order? Or can I get it at like NAPA?

Allan,

Snap-On markets a system used to clean injectors on the vehicle. The system is manufactured by someone other than Snap-On, but it is available through all of their distribution chain. There are several companies making this equipment, Kleer-Flo.com, KemParts.com, and others have information available on line.

I have the cleaner now, just no connection tube or regulator for the shrader valve on the fuel rail. I'll check around and see what I can do. Would like to do it this weekend

Found it! NAPA rocks. They got me the hose, regulator and adaptor for most domestic fi cars (GM, Ford, etc.) for $84. Special order, but at least next time, it'll only cost me $5.10 for another can.
