Running poorly
My car is powered by a ZZ4 crate engine. I am running an edelbrock 750cfm vacuum secondary carb.
Last weekend I drove to Savannah and back, car was running fine. It pulled good, and didn't have any problems. It sat through a bad storm the next day. Two days later I started the car up, and it sounded a little rough. I let it warm up and drove it down the road. It was hesitating really bad, and bogged down and backfired slightly when I got on it. It doesn't want to idle, and will cut off or idle at a really low rpm (300-400) if I give it gas and let off.
I am ruling out bad gas because I filled up in savannah and drove 170 miles home on the same tank I am on right now, and it drove fine. I pulled the distributor cap and inspected for any water or corrosion, everything checked out ok. I thoroughly inspected all of the spark plug wires and boots, they look ok. I started the car at night and didn't see any arcing from the wires. I pulled all of the plugs and they all looked good.
Does anyone have any ideas on what could've happened, or what is causing my problem? Thanks in advance.

Engine: 350, Vortecs, 650DP
Transmission: TH-350
Axle/Gears: 8.5", 3.42
Unless you have a Q-jet replacement Edelbrock, or the new AVS series, it's not a vacuum secondary. What model number is it?
Sounds like fuel starvation. Either check the float levels or the float valves to make sure they're working OK.
Do you have a fuel pressure guage? It also sounds like it could be either a fuel filter of fuel pump problem.
