I did a search, but came up with nothing for 14" rims.
I ahve 14" Centerlines... I love the look and I want to use them for the strip... but I'm affraid as to how big I can go. I don't want to gouge holes in the sidewall from the inner 1/4's!
Well 14" rims and tires are kind of old school and obsolete- they still make tires for them due to the fact there are a lot of old musclecars still sporting the original rally rims, but a 245-60-14 is about the biggest commonly availible tire and you won't find that size in anything but a low speed rating- i had that size in a BFG Radial T/A on some 14X7 aluminum turbine style (sort of like Dukes of Hazzard rims only with more spokes) on my S10.
You can get a bias ply Mickey Thompson Indy Profile in an N-50-14 which is 26.6" OD, has a 11.8" trad width and needs a 9 to 12" wide rim to mount on. Summit has them for $149.95 each. It's a reproduction of what I thought was kool in the early 80's, you need to spray paint your break drums and rear axle orange and put in air shocks pumped all the way up to complete the look.

Well, I'm just affraid that they will rub the inner 1/4 like the last set did. I don't know how tall/wide I can go; and not have to worry about popping a tire!
15 or 16x8's will have a better tire selection and actually fit. If it's for the strip, get proper racing tires mounted on reasonably-sized rims, and you'll be better off traction-wise.
