How much gas you got? If it is less then a quarter tank it could dry out the fuel pump. Just an idea. Start with the easy things first.

If you are turning the steering to full lock it could be something to do with the power steering system. You know how when you turn the wheel to the steering lock it can stutter the engine a little and make a funny noise. Try checking the fluid and belt.

The belt could be stopping the motor. when you turn the wheel all the way the power steering pump binds up and transfers that too the belt. If the rpm's are low enough it could stall the motor.

I had a monte carlo with a 3.8 6 cylinder and sharp turns at low speed would stall it out. I raised the idle a couple hundred rpm and that gave me time to keep it from dying on me. Im not an expert but that is the first thing that popped in my head when I read your post. Hope it helps.

My guess is you're sloshing fuel around in the bowls and it's starving one side of the carb when you turn and pull some Gs.

I'm running the Edelbrock (Carter) 600 and if I brake really hard it does the same thing, I believe the jets / idle feeds become uncovered with fuel during high-G loads.

Holley has a fix available for their carbs but I don't know of an equivalent fix for the Carters.

Thirdgen86TA's comment about low fuel in the tank would apply to a fuel injected application but with a carb the fuel bowl is a reservoir and a momentary drop in fuel pressure should go unnoticed.
