Rocker Stud Removal

I have a set of heads with the pressed in rocker studs and I wanted to get the Tavia or Proform tool to remove the studs so that I could put screw in studs. I was wondering if anybody had any experience with these tools and if there was alot of effort into the project.

I'm not familliar with the tool you are talking about but why don't you just have a machine shop pull them for you??

The heads have to go to the shop anyway to get the stud bosses machined off for screw in studs.

i pull my own studs. i just stack up some washers and tighten a nut on them, it pulls the stud out. you have to stop and add more washers after a while. i mill the stud boss myself and tap it for the screw in studs.
