Aftermarket prom Q's

Who's used what , what works and whats worth the $$? Choices are Hypertech, ADS, and JET. They are all about the same $ Will this clear my code 43? Im going to order one with the responses I get from here. I know that they are static sensitive so whats the best procedure for changing one. I need to get my car running its been down for a while , and my friends are ready to torn it in to the next sacrificial bonfire along his exwifes wardrobe ,at our next party .

your code 43 needs to be looked at, because
the chip probably wont repair the code.
depenent on your mods possibly the 'off-the-shelf'
retail chips wont improve on your different
mods. if its stock then one of those will help.
dont expect wheel stands and 2sec off your 1/4
ets. basically fine tuning from stock tuning
more timing advance, and fuel curve will gig
7-10% gain in hp.
if youve gone as far as cam/compression
change then a custom will be needed because of
the limited 'stock' settings.
