GM Goodwrench 350 LM1

What's the opinion of the LM1 350 Chebby motor that GM Goodwrench has. It looks nice, cheap ($1300), and kicks the crap out of my LG4. LOL I'm starting to wonder just how much of a beating my LG4 got from the previous owner considering that it was a rebuild and I had to replace the vacuum hoses that were held together with ELECTRICAL TAPE! I really wanna take the biznatch apart and see what's going on inside, but it's my daily driver, so that's out of the question...

I have one in my car and I like it. It sure beats the LG4. It takes a while to get broken in real good but when it does it moves pretty good.

I'm thinking of dropping one in my '85 Z too. From everyone I've talked to they say that the 350 will be a significant improvement. Check out the motor swap page, 305 to new 305 topic.

Well mine didn't start getting a lot of power until after about 10,000 miles. With no mods I picked up a second at the track each time a went for about 7 months.
