My Exhaust is here, so I should be doing swapping in my TPI 350 really soon. I posted a question earlier about how I should upgrade my cooling system, and it was suggested that I go to a dual fan. (By the way, thanks for the responses, guys). What about the aftermarket electric fans in Jegs/Summit, etc.? What benefits would a dual fan give me over those? Will the fans in the catalogs fit? What else should I do as far as cooling system? New radiator. BTW, I believe the new engine will make about 300 horses, maybe more eventually.
buy from summit! jegs sucks! flex a lite makes very nice fans, dual fans are good, single fans are good.. just make sure ur getting the venturi(sp?) effect going on.. have some sort of plastic what-cha-ma-callit that makes the fan pull only throw the radiator
With 300 horses I personally wouldn't bother adding an additional fan, but for peace of mind go ahead and get it. What you can do if you don't have A/C or have removed it is get an aftermarket "pusher" fan and mount that in front of the radiator so that way you can just leave the stock fan in place...those do the best job out of any fans I've see anyways.

I think the best might be the SPAL twin 12 inch. It flows 2800 cfm and pulls 37 amps. I put it on my 400 because I did not think anything else would keep it cool. They are about 260 bucks from summit with no mountings brackets or wiring. There are also other dual fan setups that pull close to 2800. But, as someone indicated I don't think you would need it with 300 to 350 hp. A good radiator will help most of all and making sure you have all of the ducting that third gens require.
