costs around 180$ (GM OBD-I Scanner). should I buy this or is it just a toy? Someone who has this please tell me is this a good choice. (price looks kinda cheap for a scanner..)
I don't have one but plan to get one sometime in the future. I've asked the same question as you have before and everyone that had one liked them. As far as scanners go, there are better ones out there but they are also alot more expensive.
Definitely not a toy, unless of course you're like me and any new tool is a "toy"
Only drawback versus some of the more expensive ones is you can only display one parameter at a time. Though with the newer versions you can get the PC link cable to download to a PC, where you can do whatever you want with the data.
Check out www.partsamerica.com They list it for 149.99 and then take 15% off if you order online before Dec. 6th I think. Total = $126.65 plus shipping.

I looked from partsamerica site and there it was...but I wasn't able to order it TO Finland (only USA). So I guess I'll have to order it from AutoXray-pages. Thanks for your answers.
