Edelbrock 60909 heads

http://www.jegs.com//cgi-bin/ncommer...76&prmenbr=361

Ok, as some of you might have seen by my other threads I am in the process of deciding what to do about heads for my car.

anyway my friend just got these edelbrocks, and he swears to me they are aluminum... I keep telling him they arent... every aluminum head i have seen the manufac or the ecommerce site specifys that it is... plus they are $500 each assembled, that seems way to cheap for aluminum...

can anyone tell me one way or another

note: I am really not considering these heads, its just an argument

Yep, they're aluminum alright, and the price is right too. That's about what I paid for mine. I don't believe Edelbrock even makes a cast iron head.

I'm running Edelbrock 6073 heads - Edelbrock has added the last number "9" to their part numbers since I bought mine. Mine are the RPM version of the Performer, which the 60909 are. The 60909 are the aluminum Street emissions version called the Performer. Mine are Performer RPM (No heat cross-over).

All the specs are on their site, including flow numbers.

Jake
