Have any of you drilled and tapped a Victor Jr. for a vacuum port?

I need an extra vacuum port on my manifold for my pcv to hook to. The papers that came with the intake says to drill as close to the carb mounting flangs as possible. Too close looks to be an interferance with the carb and the runner is at an angle. I'd really like to see a pic of one already done. The intake is an Edelbrock Victor Jr. Thanks in advance.

I've drilled lots of intakes for stuff like that. No pics though.

The trick is to use a center punch, and drill a small hole (like 1/16" or something) to start, at exactly the angle you want it to end up at; then drill it with successively larger bits until you get to the size you want, which would be whatever drill it is for ¼" pipe thread (I can't recall exactly... it should say on the tap). The small bit, then one about 3/16" or ¼", then the final size, should be enough steps.

Have you ever gotten too close to the divider in between the 6 and 8 runner? I don't want to drill through the middle of it.
