PLEASE HELP ME!, 82 Z28 TRIES TO KILL WHEN HOT

I have not driven my car for about 3 months because of the snow here in Utah, i just started driving it today, i warmed it up every day in the garage and it sounded great. But when I drove it today, it did absolutely wonderful for about an hour, but all of a sudden your driving normally, about 30 mph, and it will act like it is cutting on you, the rpm shoots down to about 400, and it cuts off, what the heck is causing this? my exhaust is perfect, my fuel pump, fuel filter is great, spark plug wires brand new, spark plugs great, what the heck is going on, it works fine for about 10 min of driving then it does the exact same thing. my temperature gague never gets above 140, so thats fine there, this is really frustrating because it has never done this before until now. so please. ANY INFO YOU CAN GIVE ME PLEASE DO, I really am clueless on this one. You can be driving 25 mph, holding the same speed, and all of a sudden for no reason it will start to idle rough on you, then the rpm drops, and then it comes back up, and drops, and back up and so on. its like its missing, but there is no way it can be, brand new electrical and it works GREAT until its warmed up, so PLEASE HELP, ANYTHING. I appreciate it guys, thanks again!

Nate

P.S. if you guys need info on my engine for any reason, it is the 82 V8 5.0 litre crossfire, and yeah, i know its a crossfire, so dont bash on it, thats very annoying, please give me any insight you have besides swapping engines, thanks again guys

i wasn't real clear if you had checked all the tune up parts and found no problems or if you were guessing they were still good. first thing i'd do is check out the tune up, do a cylinder balance test ,look for vacuum leaks, cracked or colasped hose, fuel preasure and volumn, compression test.
