tired of burnt plug wires

any sleeves or anything i can buy to slide over boots that can take the heat

The first thing to do is to get the wires routed away from the headers. You need plug wires with all 90* boots. You CAN get boots for wires too though if you have no otehr choice. I bought a set when I got my MSD Superconductors, but the boots were too big to slip them on. Even without any other protection, good routing has kept my wires from being burned for about a year now.

i got em routed good but boot sits right on header i need ti dimple tube but tring to figure best way to dimple em while theyre on the car pain in the a$$ to take off

My 84 L69 has some of those brackets mounted to the engine block below the heads. Only way to get to them is from under the car, but they definately don't burn up. Even if you don't have the brackets down there, you could probably rig up a little super glue and a magnet on the back of one of those plastic plug wire retainers to hold them away from the exhaust. Just a thought.

HHAHAHAHAHA, I had the same prob on my camaro with headers, go to jegs, get the kevlar boot covers, with the accel 900+ wires, they are all 90 degrees, and your good to go, these covers are burn proof
