Question about combustion chamber conditioner from GM

I bought the "Cleens" conditioner from gm and this product is a liquid.

First, i want to know if this product is good

Second, someone tell me to put the product in the brake vacuum. Is it true?

Third, i NEVER use this kind of conditioner and i want to know if i can break a piston rod with it because its like a water and i dont want to fill up the combustion chamber. So there is some precautions to take?

Finally, because the risk of this manipulation, can i do it safely, without any risk for the motor???

Thanks

Stallone

Stall One,

If you intorduce too much liquid at a time is it possible to get hydraulic lock in a cylinder, but not likely. Still, it is something to be aware of.

To be safe, try using the PCV or brake booster vacuum lines, but install a reducer and a smaller hose to draw the liguid from the container.

Incidentally, what did you pay for the cleaner? I've seen some people quoting a $15.00 cost, but I can find it at the dealer for $5.25. The $15.00 might have been the cost as part of a tune up service, and reflected a "retail" price versus the "net" price. Dunno.

I paid 7.60$ (can) for each bottle of 500 ml. The dealer said to me that i need two.

Is it safe to do the manipulation for me?

I am not sure to do this.
