nah, less than 1 year old gas should be ok, unless you want to siphon most of it out (GAG). have a charged battery, disconnect the power wire to the distributor and crank the engine a few times to get the oil flowing again and watch the oil pressure gauge go up. Check all fluid levels than run it and look for leaks. Probably should change oil before you drive anywhere. Thats if it was in running condition before. If you are not sure of the condition you can try to turn the engine over by hand with a wrench. If it is not siezed up you can remove the plugs and clean them with a wire wheel and shoot some WD-40 in the plug holes to lube the rusty motor up. This worked great for a car I tested that sat ober 8 years, fired up after less than 1 hours of work and sounded good!!! |
