Hurst V-matic 1 shifter?

I just got a used shifter off ebay i think it is the old Hurst V-matic shifter. I went to the Hurst website and looked at the V-matic 2, it looks close to the same but different. I looked at the B&M website and didn't find anything that looked close. So i'm pretty sure it is the Hurst V-matic. Does anybody have any pictures of the mechanism or schematic drawings? I'm trying to figure out how to make it work correctly. To get it out of park, reverse you have to lift the lever. Then you get to D and push the lever down and it will rachet. But if you rachet forward it will racket all the way to park, it this right? I thought that you would have to pull the lever again to get it into park.

I will try and get pics tomorrow!

Thanks

When i first looked it i thought it looked like a V-matic. But now that i look at the Megashifter closer i kinda looks like that too. But it doesn't really look like either. My shifter has to racheting plates, meaning there are two plates with the ratcheting teeth.
