Ideal spark plug gap?

For my brand new 350 TBI I picked up some AC Delco plugs today. I was wondering if yall have any advice as to what to gap them at.

Vitals:

Trick Flow aluminum heads 23*

Crane HI-6 ignition box

MSD coil and wires

I believe stock is .035, but maybe .045 would be better?

. . and no nitrous will be used.

The MSD instructions tell you to add about 0.1 to the gap so that would make 0.45.

Thats what I run and it worksa treat. Some folks can get away with running up to 0.55 but I think 0.45 is about what you want.

Uhh, not 0.1, but 0.01. You surely don't want a half-inch gap. Since he has a hot ignition box that will probably fire anything, I'd try going from the stock .035 to maybe .040. Try it there, see how the motor likes it. You might try .045 next time.

I believe those are the figures for the stock 305 he swapped out and now hes asking about his modded 350 which he indicated in his post.

yeah sorry did indeed mean 0.01", but that is indeed what the msd instructions said. But yeah 0.040 would be better than 0.035".

I went with .045 guys. I'm trying to do it once, because there's NO WAY I'm getting those suckers out after it's in the engine bay.

Those numbers are indeed with the 305.
