EGR/Lean Exhaust code

I have both of those codes stored and my SES light comes on after about 10 minutes of driving every time.

If I replace the egr will that help with the lean exhaust, or would that be more of something like a bad 02 sensor? There is no CAT on the vehicle, it's a 89 TA. It runs awesome, I can't imagine by the way it runs that it's running lean.

An egr sticking open can cause a lean condition.
