good to know. i wasent ever aware that it was possible to have an internally balanced 383 but i have papers about my crank that says so. its a 400 crank but internally balanced so im going with a 350 dampner. if this isnt true someone jump in before i break something . anyone have any good brands to try...i found this brand for a great price and its SFI approved
If it says internally balanced, then it shoud use a 350 balancer.
I would not send my money to China by buying CAT stuff, if I could help it. Personally I would pay a couple more bucks to keep it in the states if I could.

I Run a fluid dampner but that is just to say I have one....lol It would depend on what you plan on doing with it i guess....... There is a wide range of them........... Me I would go with something that is SFI Approved just because I would know it would not fly apart on me. If you are looking for something just stock the summit has OEM ones for 59.99.
Do you have to run 6" rods on your combo to run the internally balanced crank?
All the internally balanced cranks i checked into (one peice)for my 383 buildup specified a rod of atleast 6"
well do i HAVE to im not sure. but i am running 6" eagle h beam rods with my setup
sorry i couldnt help more, id say go for it anyway, give a little more torque
Sounds awsome i already ordered all my parts so cant change now sounds like your engine is gonna rip though. It was little frustrating figuring out all the different balances and parts needed for my build up.Didnt know new small blocks were externally balanced wich really through a curve ball into my thinking hehe but gotter figured now.
