Tunnel ram cam?

First off let me say this in not for a third gen. The car in question is a 55 chevy belair. I recently installed a single carb weiand tunnel ram on the 350 in the car to replace the edelbrock performer that was on there. A friend sold it to me real cheap and it looks really good under the hood. Anyways the car is a four speed manual so the car is not any slower, nor is it any faster. Well now I'm ready to do a rebuild and want to optimize the manifold to a cam. I plan to go at least .30 over or more, the gears will be 3.73 or 4.11. The heads are the old double hump fuely W/2.02-1.60 valves. I will do a mild port and polish on them with a freashing up if cheap enough, or get some S/R torquer's if the cost get's within $200.
I have a holly 650(mec).
My question is what lift/duration and lobe sep angle do tunnel rams like. I have no idea, I only know about TPI motors. All my carb knowledge has faded away. Any insight would be greatly apprecieated. Thanks.

Something that starts to build power above 3500 rpm. An XE294 would be a good choice. Don't expect a mild cam to work with a tunnel ram on the street and get a good idle and fuel milage. Tunnel rams are strictly for racing and need to be put on an engine designed for that. Single carb versions are poor choices. They cause the air to move around corners and restrict the direct flow and main purpose of having a tunnel ram.
