Car: 1992 RS Engine: 406 Stealth Ram Transmission: 700R4 | Anyone install a SuperRam KIT in a NON TPI car? (kinda long) | I have been thinking a lot lately about my upcoming 406 buildup. I want to go with a TPI setup, but I dont want the stock TPI system. I was originally going to buy a 91-92 Z28 with TPI, put in my 406, sell the runners and plenum, and put the SuperRam runners and plenum on and call it done (~$1000). I dont think I want to buy another car just so I dont have to wire up the TPI. I am now seriously considering putting the 406 in my current car (92 RS 305 TBI). How much of an ordeal would it be to do this? Would I be able to buy the SuperRam kit (~$3000) and install it "easily". Would I be able to follow the tech article on swapping TBI to TPI pretty closely? How hard is it to remove the engine wiring harness for my car? Is the Wiring harness that comes with the SuperRam kit a quality harness? Sorry this is so long. Thanks guy. | | | |
