Hate myself for loving this car!!! Need timing help!

I've searched and searched some more for the tan wire with the black stripe that you have to disconnect to adjust timing. It's not there!!! Does every thirdgen with a 305 have it? I have a CC Quadrajet if that helps. Is there another way to adjust it if the wire can't be found?

The carbed cars don't do it that way.

There's a 4-pin connector that comes off the back of the dist, usually hangs down into the trans tunnel. That's the one you have to disconnect.
