There is a some knd of a clicking/ticking noise when I step hard on the gas. I think it could be a noisy valve. How do I check for that. Eg. I am driving 40 mph on the 2 gear(5 spd) and the Rpm's are mid to high but not at the yellow line (5000). When I hit the has it makes that noise for a half a second and then it is normal. This only happens at high RPM.s Ps. are you sure its not pinging? what kind of gas/octane do you use?

Whatever it was is gone.

My knock sensor was not pluged in all the way.

Not i can hear that noise.
