Tilt Steering part identification
I was tightening my tilt steering column when I found this part (see attachment) on the floorboard of my car. It must have fallen out from somewhere because I do not remember taking it out. It appears to be a clip of some sort. The parts diagrams that I have been looking at are not clear enough for me to identify what it is and I dont want to put it together until I find out what it is. Help!!

I need a little more info. I have looked at all of the techs with pictures and diagrams and still can't identify where it goes. I dont see it on any parts list. There is a key buzzer assembly. The one that is white plastic with two copper "arms" or contacts coming off of it, but then there are just three bolts and a retaining screw listed. Anybody have a picture?

i can't find a pic or those 2 parts laying around, so heres some art work,... & yes, i failed art in school.
**edit** i just realized, i have the 2 contact arms going the wrong way, they should be pointing down instead of up.

I finished the job, but if I were your mechanic you would have taken your car and not paid me!!! Everything works fine except now the column does not lock when the ignition is turned off. I guess I have something wrong with the selector.
