Question for guys running fuel injection
Hi guys ive done a lot of reading on hear about guys running stock fuel injection that uprading to hiperformance manifolds,runneres etc.Because the stock units dont supply enough air or fuel at higher rpms.
what i wanted to know from the guys running the ls1 swaps,is the stock ls1 injection ok stock or do you have to upgrade it too?
and how much horsepower can you run the ls1 engine up to before having to start throwing money at the stock setup.
Ive notice in a recent mag that companies are starting to offer after market carbed intakes for the ls1 motor and it looks to be a less expensive approach to these motors ie.i can buy a long block ls1 and just bolt on an intake and carb and the msd ignition and it'lll support hi rpm right out of the box.
