where EXACTLY is the green lead for tach install?


All i have left on my tach install is to hook up the green wire.Where exactly on the coil does it go.I have the external coil on a 85 bird 2.8.
Very detailed instrutions on where it is would be nice.

Freshly Painted(bright metallic blue)
Mods to come:
Either an 80 series flows or super turbo dynomax.Cant decide!

What kinda tach: OEM, Autometer, VDO? On, IIRC, Autometer guages (could be the same for VDOs) the green wire is for the number of cylinders you have, consult Autometer for cutting/grounding/do-nothing with this wire.
