Using a nickel in the fuel regulator

I currently have my plenum off right now, and was thinking of using the nickel trick to bump up the pressure. How much will it bump it up to? Currently it will max out at 41psi.

Rob you're actually not sitting bad at 41 unless you're just wanting to experiment. Vader submitted an article to my site for building your own AFPR. Might give you a little more flexibility.

... however it will cost 95 cents more!

Thanks Mike, yea, I was just wanting to play around and see what improvements I might get with the few mods that I've done.

Well, I just added the Nickel. It put me up to about 47-48psi. I wont have the plenum back on until Monday to see if this helps/hurts my performance.

I think you might have hit it right on the money. With my AFPR I set it to 46/47. But you're right it would depend on your mods. Mine is basically stock, just ported and a hotter coil.

I couldn't wait any longer, and I put everything back together today. The car runs great!!! Now I can't say I increased my hp by 10 ponies or such, but she feels much smoother and faster in the rpms.
