Is there a way to reset the SES light??

After completing a head and cam swap, I'm getting a code 43 (no signal to knock sensor). Is there a way to reset it so that the light won't turn on. I have to get this car smogged this month so I'm looking for a temp. fix to this problem. Thanks

take the power away from the ecm and it'll reset, but if the problem is stil lthere it'll turn the light back on.

I thought about taking the light bulb out, but I would think the inspectors would look for that and fail me on the spot.

Let me try to disconnect the power to the ecm and see what happens. BTW does anyone know if there is a connector inbetween the knock sensor and the ecm? If so I might have forgotten to reconnect it when I was putting things back together.
