Okay I have a theory. Lets face it, there are actually some fast ricers. They simply squeeze everything out of their engines. so why not apply this to a V-8? Does anyone have any experience with boilding a single or twin turbo small block chevy? I was thinking of a 327 or an old 302 or even a 305, just something with a short stroke. How hard is it to do with a carbed setup? I know it would make ungodly amounts of high end power, and I really want to try this some day...

My master plan...which wont be in effect till I do all my homework and round up the money (the money will be the easy part =P) is to put in a twin turbo V8 Northstar into my 91' Z28. I dont know how far you can bore out the Northstar block but Ill aim for 6 Liters. That will be a fun project.
Gale Banks has a twin turbo set up specifically made for the third gen. I just read about it in one of my books. I am not sure on the price but I am sure it wont be cheap. That one is made for a carb engine what I want is a TT for my TPI setup. I have heard that Gale is trying to make one for the TPI so I think that I may be getting a wonderful gift when he is done with that. I can just see the smile on my face when it comes out.
There's a fellow named Callaway that will sell you all the twin turbo goodness your wallet can handle. You could have even orderes a twin turbo vette from any GM dealer back in the late 80's and early 90's. I beleive that they will still install all the turbo stuff in your vehicle today.
Andris Skulte is creating a Z28TT. I'm sure he has the experience and info you want. Go to his site www.skulte.com
