| will Comp 979 springs work with an LG4? i bought a new set of CompCams "979" springs cause i was going to rebuild my 85' GNs heads. now, however, i am forced to sell the hotair Buick due to financial reasons. i still have in my garage my old 1984 LG4 equipped Z28 which is the only car i have left to "hot rod". my question is:
will these springs work with the LG4 motor? (yes they are a set of 16) is the spring pressure enough for the V8 and will there be any machine work involved to fit them? if theyre not a drop in replacement ill just sell them over on www.turbobuick.com. my car has the stock valvetrain, and im not looking for a performance upgrade out of these springs, just to replace a set of originals that are probably weak on the old LG4
thanks in advance | | |

- also 100% bone stock, but much slower than the Regal!
98' Chevrolet Camaro Z28 (LS1/4L60E/3.23s)
- hard to believe, but its actually 100% bone stock also! |
