Some guys like to cut a hole in the cargo area and make a door to be able to replace without droping the gas tank. But if not done right it just looks like a hack job. Do a search for past posts this has been a heated debat on the "right way to do this swap". Some beleve since the hole was not factory then it should not be there. Dropping the gas tank is the way any service guide shows but can be a pita if you get a bad pump or don't do something right the first time. I say do what works best for you and the tools and abilitys you have.
