Which Brake Pads are Easy on Rotors ?
I know that "semi-metallic" pads eat up the rotors pretty quickly. I used to use "organic" Raybestos pads from National Auto, which seem to have disappeared latley, which were great, whatever they were. Lasted a long time and didn't destroy the rotor.
AutoZone says they have something called "carbon-metallic" which they say are easier on the rotor than the "semi-metallic".
What pads are out there that are easy on rotors? And what are these "carbon-metallics" and are they really easy on the rotors ?
Thanks

Madmax,
You're right. I just found some at National Auto, brand is "Satisfied", and they are organic, for $12.99. Cheaper than semi-met, last longer, and better for the rotor.
