transmission acting up

86 trans am, 305 tpi

i am having a problem with my transmission that no one seems to be able to figure out. when i hit the gas, the rpms drop, and then begin to climb. it does this when it shifts too. it does not do this under full acceleration, or when the car is cold. if i am driving at any speed and goto hit the gas to gain some speed, u can hear the engine bog down and then the rpms start to climb again. i am thinking maybe its a computer problem? also when the car is warmed up, the idle sits at 2000 and then slowly drops to a grand when the car is started up. when the car is cold, it starts at around 1300 rpm, and drops to about 1000 in park. any help is appreciated.

You may get some replies here, but you should post on the Transmission/Driveline forum...there's some sharp tranny guys there that I never see post here.
