Gauge Fuse blowing engine misfires now

I've isolated my misfire from slightly after idle to almost 1/2 throttle to a possible short, my "Gauges" fuse keeps blowing if i replace it and start the car, if i give the car more then 1/2 throttle to full throttle it revs fine but "stumbles" and sputters and eventually continues to POP if i hold anywhere from slightly past idle (which is high by the way) to 1/2 throttle very wierd problem i know. but if anyone has encountered this or might know what it is i would appreciate any help as im carless know and need a car for work thanks again guys
