Couple Q's on my Combo

What might this produce:
350, KB hyper. pistons
Summit Vortec Heads, 175cc, 67cc, 1.94/1.50
GMPP (Crane) Roller Cam 234/242, .539/.558
Edelbrock Performer 600cfm carb
Single Plain or Air Gap intake, which ever I find on eBay

Now I'll need self-aligning rockers, or I can use guid plates with non s/a rockers, right? GM does not state a powerband for there cams, but Im guessing 3000-6500. but Desktop Dyno only puts that combo up to 5500.

Before next years race season starts I'll be adding:
a better carb, 700cfm enough?
and nitrous, 150HP

Im gonna guess the 550HP range with the no2. Whats about the most those Summit Vortec heads can yield without doing work to them? I can port them for free, if I feel like spending a couple hours doing it.

Is there any way to tell if this is gonna be more of a low end power engine or top end power? Im hoping this setup just works good, then put some money into suspension upgrades to get the car off the line quick. If there are no problems with that combo, I will probably start it next week and finaly get my '88 running again after almost a year of sitting

Hypereutectic pistons and nitrous are typically not considered a good mix.

.558" lift on 1.250" sprung Vortec heads sounds like crunch time.

234/242 @ .050" is going to be a high end 350. At least, for a street car. I suppose it would be considered mid for an all-out race car.

Why not go with the E-Tec heads?

Mabey I will swap in that forged set of TRW's I have sitting in the garage. So what good are hypers? The Summit heads are cheaper. I still need another $500 for the new tranny alone, still alot more to get after that before its race ready. Hopefully I'll be working at Summit soon and get a nice discount

Hypers are great for high HP, low buck, NA engines.

Maybe you'd better wait until you're on the Summit payroll. Perhaps work on their website...
