Summit Roller Tip Rockers

I am all for buying the best quality that I can afford, often paying MORE than I really can afford.

Has anybody used the Summit Roller Tip Rockers? They are a little under $60.00 for the set of 16. I have to go in and re-adjust my valve lash anyhow, so I was thinking it might be a good idea.

Anybody have any ideas on whether the quality of the Summit brand is comparable to the Crane and Comp brands?

Aren't those stamped sheet metal like stock? If so, they are NOT at all comparable in quality to real rockers such as Comp or Crane.

I'm on the side of "bang for the buck" too; IMHO the best thing going for a relatively stock motor is the Comp steel roller-tip ball-fulcrum ones such as the 1412. They're investment-cast, so they're many times stronger than sheet metal, i.e. no lost motion due to them flexing.

Granted they are not top of the line , but for what you want with low spring pressure they are better than stock and will work just fine. I have been using them on street engines for many years with good luck.
