Coolant Overflow Tank Broke

My Coolant Overflow Plastic Tank Nipple broke off. The nipple is Ok, but it left a hole in the tank. Do you think fixing it with 'Blue Permatex' will hold?

You're gonna fix a hole or glue the nipple back on with gasket sealer? I don't think it's gonna work. Maybe plastic epoxy would do the trick. Or you can get a pretty white one brand new from the dealership for something like 9 bux.

Don't mess with permatex, I tried and I just got a big mess that leaked. Trust me, get a new one.

Epoxy fixed a crack in mine for over a year, but for the cost of the new tank (like $12), save yourself the aggravation of it leaking again and buy a new one. Permatex? It's a little too flexible for the application, don't you think?
