rebuild kit

ok once i get my new camaro which will proberly be a 305ci i am going to rebuild the engine now is this Federal Mogul Engine Rebuild Kit any good http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...+-59098+-42272

Check out that rear restrictor port issue. Some intake manifold gaskets have them open, some closed. I guess it depends on which intake manifold you use but the fel pro HS gaskets on mine came with the closed off rear restrictor port. It may be the reason that my temp sensor is not touching any water to turn the fan on at 190degrees.. fun, that means take the intake manifold off again.

well the car im gona have a look at next week has got 140,000miles on the clock its a 1984 305ci, thought it might be worth a rebuild, i dont know if the intake gaskets on that kit our open or close.
